Another day, another Celtic fan seemingly going to the ends of the earth to get one over on Rangers – this time via the Home Office.
A Celtic fan, who is either really struggling at home or trolling Rangers fans, has petitioned the Home Office to claim that Rangers fraudulently obtained a work permit for Alfredo Morelos. Seriously.
In the ridiculous blog post, Celtic fan writer John James claims that there is a suggestion Rangers cheated the system to smuggle Alfredo Morelos into Scotland.

In a nutshell, the blogger is demanding to know why a work permit was awarded to Alfredo Morelos in July 2017 because he doesn’t meet “English Football Association criteria”
The argument is that because Morelos had not yet represented his country at international level he should not have been awarded the permit, and even the likes of Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson are complicit in this strange coverup.
You’ve got to hope that this is a wind-up and the Celtic blogger isn’t being serious, for his own sake more than anything.
Needless to say, plenty of Gers fans have been chuckling at John James’ blog on Twitter.

If Morelos isn’t a very good player, why is this Celtic fan determined to see him deported back to Colombia?
It’s worth noting that even if Morelos had failed to get a permit, as a youth international who would bring much to the league, he very much satisfies the Scottish rules on appeal, as were exploited by Celtic in the case of Eboussi Kouassi.
