Rangers have released a professionally recorded version of Ibrox anthem ‘Every Saturday We Follow’ which will be added to the mix of songs played in the stadium on matchdays – and Gers fans on Twitter absolutely love it.
The modern anthem has only been around for a relatively short period of time but was a regular favourite of supporters before Covid left us locked outside and watching from home.
MyGers members were first to hear the song before it went public and the response has been massively positive as Gers fans can’t wait to finally get back into Ibrox.
With the song likely getting its first outing ahead of this weekend’s Old Firm clash with Celtic in the Scottish Cup, it is a good addition to the existing matchday playlist at Ibrox – although hopefully it doesn’t get played to death the same way Rangers did Penny Arcade.
Fans were buzzing after hearing the song for the first time – with several admitting it only made them want to return to Ibrox even more as Battle Fver kicked in.
