The Rangers Fan Advisory Board have confirmed that they have held a meeting with Patrick Stewart and other members of the Rangers leadership team.
The RFAB met with the new Rangers CEO and other key placeholders at Ibrox to discuss what they describe as a ‘wide range of club issues and concerns’.
The minutes of the meeting, which took place before the Scottish Cup defeat to Queen’s Park, are expected to be made available imminently.
The statement comes amid mounting pressure on the Rangers board to go public with their plans for the club following the weekend’s shock Scottish Cup exit.
Rangers Fan Advisory Board write to Rangers
In a statement to supporters, the Rangers Fan Advisory Board confirmed they have met with Patrick Stewart.
The group have also claimed that they’ve been in touch with Rangers with regards the current situation involving Philippe Clement.
Rangers fans are furious after the team crashed out of the Scottish Cup, effectively ending the club’s domestic season in February.
With attendances set to plummet and plenty of fans calling for Clement’s head, the RFAB claim they have also been in touch with Rangers to ‘convey the strength of fan sentiment’ following the defeat to Queen’s Park.
It’s now four days on from what is objectively the worst Scottish Cup defeat in Rangers’ history and the club’s fans are yet to hear from those running the club.
