The comments from the reputable Ibrox source came before the closed-doors friendly between a Rangers XI and the Premier League outfit.
Rangers won the tie 3-0 with James Tavernier, Greg Stewart and Greg Docherty [Rangers Culture] on the scoresheet, but Four Lads are clear that the friendly wasn’t just about building fitness.
With Leicester flying down south the prospect of the two clubs linking up and developing a relationship is an exciting one for Rangers fans.

Naturally, the news that Rangers are forging a relationship with the controversial former Parkhead manager will irk Celtic supporters.
