Earlier in the month, we ran a story on Scott Arfield putting his special Remembrance Sunday Rangers shirt up for auction to one lucky Rangers fan.
The top, emblazoned with a poppy on the chest, was worn by Man of the Match Arfield in the 7-1 demolition of Motherwell. The midfielder scored two on a memorable Remembrance Sunday at Ibrox.
All you had to do was donate £10 to Help for Heroes, and donate you did. The campaign raised around £8k for the military veterans charity and it was a superb touch from the midfielder.
What’s more, himself and Kyle Lafferty appeared in a video to give the top away.

For only £10, this Rangers fan will have a memento he can keep forever. The shirt takes extra significance given the fact it commemorates the 100 year anniversary of World War I.

As for Scotty Arfield, let’s hope the midfielder can keep up his stirring recent form.
It might save Gerrard a dip into the transfer market in January.
