Rangers boss Michael Beale has been dealt a fresh double injury blow with Ridvan Yilmaz and Ryan Jack unable to continue in the defeat to Aberdeen.
The Gers side were booed off the park at half-time at Ibrox with the clubs somehow finding themselves 1-0 down despite dominating the first period of the game.
But as the players came back out of the tunnel for the second half, Rangers boss Michael Beale was forced into make a double substitution against Aberdeen with both Ridvan Yilmaz and Ryan Jack picking up injuries.
The Rangers boss pointed to both players coming off the park as he assesses what was a “horrible” afternoon at Ibrox, his side eventually going on to lose 3-1.

Double Rangers injury blow “compounds” Aberdeen misery
“A horrible day obviously,” said Beale. “A terrible result.
“We actually started the game really well and I thought Aberdeen were very compact and quite negative in their approach to the game early on but we managed to create three or four big chances. Three I thought were big chances.
“You don’t take them and you defend a set play as poorly as we did you go in at half-time 1-0 down.
“At that moment, we could have done without Ryan Jack and Ridvan having to come off because it compounds the situation where we have got a light bench.
“We reshuffled, started the second half OK and then concede off a set play again. We don’t deserve anything from the game today.”

The latest Rangers injury issues come after the team went into the Aberdeen fame with several high profile players ruled out of the team.
Todd Cantwell, Nicolas Raskin, Tom Lawrence, Rabbi Matondo, Kieran Dowell, Danilo and Kemar Roofe are all missing and if you add Ridvan Yilmaz and Ryan Jack into the mix the signs are ominous.
With the overwhelming majority of the Rangers support now fully swung away from Michael Beale, it’s a situation from which the outspoken Ibrox boss will struggle to recover.
