Rangers club insider “wouldn’t be surprised” if transfer completed today

Steven Gerrard might’ve played down any Rangers transfer talk to Sky Sports earlier, but it hasn’t stopped one club insider suggesting that could all change.
Talk of the immediate transfer of Glen Kamara has been going on all window. After Kamara signed a pre-contract at the beginning of January, Rangers have been trying hard to get the midfielder to Ibrox this month. So far, the club has been unsuccessful.
It looked like all was lost. But according to reputable Twitter source EST Consultancy, it wouldn’t be surprising if that changed before the window slammed shut.

It’s not surprising either that the club insider are suggesting this.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Jim McIntyre admitted the Finnish international’s head had been turned. Only a few days ago the Daily Express reported Rangers were making a late £50k swoop for the player.
It appears Kamara is desperate to join the club this month.

It puts Dundee in a pretty awkward dilemma. Let Kamara stay and keep hold of a player that doesn’t want to be there. Or cash in on a small amount this month and save on his wages.
It also looked like Dundee had signed a replacement in
Andreas Hadenius earlier in the month, opening the door for Kamara to join.

It’s certainly one to watch as we enter the final furlong of a very productive transfer window.
Even if Gerrard says Rangers are done their shopping for the month.
