But now Rangers are beginning to bring the beautiful ground up to modern day standards. And some of the work that’s going on is pretty exciting.

In their latest blog post, Four Lads speak about a range of upgrades happening at Ibrox.

They touch on the upgrade of the yellow cladding on the Broomloan Stand. The cladding on the Copland is next, and it will include an extensive clean of the brickwork on the stand.

The roof on the stand is also being updated and the flags along the top of the stand will also receive an upgrade due to weathering.

Pitchside, the new hybrid surface is taking shape and blue running track being replaced. There will also be new dug-outs installed.

There has also been work inside the stadium, with new carpets and flooring at the entrance to the Blue room. On top of that, there have also been upgrades to the dressing room and players areas.

It’s not just Ibrox either. Four Lads provided updates on work taking place at the Hummel Training Centre.

It’s superb to see the club follow through on their promises to upgrade the stadium. Supporters should also thank Rangers club insider Four Lads Had a Dream for this in-depth update.
