Rangers chief Stewart Robertson has suggested that the club would be interested in signing Ryan Kent beyond the summer, should he become available.
Speaking at the ORSA Convention in New Zealand, Managing Director Robertson was positive about Rangers’ interest in the player and what he brings to the side. Even if he acknowledged Ryan Kent’s signature wouldn’t come cheap.
Kent’s not only a talented player, but he’s also on a four year deal at Liverpool, which drives up the price.
His Q&A at the ORSA event was live tweeted by reputable Rangers fan media Heart & Hand.

Robertson said: “Ryan Kent – has four years left on Liverpool deal. He wouldn’t be cheap but if opportunity comes up to retain him we will explore it. He’s a great player.
“We have an excellent relationship with Liverpool but too early to say.”
Rangers fans have always expressed an interest in retaining the Liverpool starlets services. He has blossomed at Ibrox and is enjoying his time at the club. Kent himself suggested to The Scottish Sun that he’s not averse to the idea of staying at the club beyond the summer either.
Kent has been one of our best players this season and the 22-year-old winger is now one of the first names on the teamsheet at Ibrox.

His twisting, tricky play and direct running is complimented by neat passing and also the ability to score goals.

He’s a top player and the idea of Kent staying at the club is an exciting prospect for Rangers fans.
It’s a move which Rangers Chief Robertson certainly hasn’t ruled out.
