Rangers captain James Tavernier is reportedly interesting a trio of Premier League clubs as we head into the summer transfer window.
The flying right back has been on superb form for Rangers this season, scoring 16 goals and making 20 assists in 55 games this campaign.
His form clearly hasn’t gone unnoticed down south. Burnley, Southampton and Brighton are all said to be hovering over the player to the tune of £8m, according to the Daily Mail.
James Tavernier’s electric form for Rangers earned him a new contract earlier in the season, much to the delight of supporters. Gers fans view Tav as a vital part of the side, with many viewing his influence as irreplaceable.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard clearly agrees. Gerrard made Tavernier his captain at the beginning of the season, something which is a testament to Tavernier’s influence on the squad, and ability on the pitch.
The right-back is constantly at the centre of everything that’s good for Rangers and he is a vital part of how the team plays.
Any bid of £8m seems paltry when you consider how important his goals and performances are to the club.
