Rangers bound KV Oostende striker Fashion Sakala has spoken out after breaking a club record and saying farewell to the Diaz Arena.
The Gers announced the pre-contract capture of Sakala earlier this month and his switch to Ibrox is nearing.

He played in his final ever home match for KVO on Wednesday evening and netted an impressive quickfire brace in a 2-2 draw with KV Mechelen.
The double took him to 16 goals for the season, which is a club record.

Sakala has since stated his pride at breaking the record on Twitter, while he also spoke glowingly about his time at KVO.
“It was a great feeling to score two goals in my last game here although it was disappointing to only draw 2-2 and I actually thought I should have scored a hat-trick,” he said [Daily Record]. “It was a great way to say goodbye to a club I will forever regard as special.”
“This is the club who gave me my chance in Europe. I don’t count my time in Russia because I played for the Spartak Moscow reserves.
“In three years here I learned a lot and became a much better player and person. It has been a fantastic journey. The club believed in me and I am leaving as a top player.”
Sakala is finishing the season strongly at KVO, showing intelligent movement and strong finishing ability to notch his latest brace.
It may take him time to adapt to Premiership football next season, but Steven Gerrard is certainly excited for his arrival and given the lack of a transfer fee, Rangers haven’t taken much of a financial risk bringing him to Ibrox.
If the Light Blues can hold onto both Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe this summer, the manager will have a potent strikeforce at his disposal for 2021/22.
