Steven Gerrard has dropped a hint regarding his Rangers future amid speculation that he’s being lined up for the Liverpool job [RangersTV].
Gerrard has been in the Ibrox hot seat since May 2018 and is under contract until 2024, but there’s still been plenty of talk about his future in recent weeks.

With his old club Liverpool struggling in the Premier League and Jurgen Klopp linked with the German national team job, the Daily Mirror claimed last month that Liverpool’s principal owner John W. Henry and chairman Tom Werner are convinced that the Gers boss has what it takes to succeed at Anfield.
Based on a clip from his interview following Saturday’s 3-0 win over St Mirren, though, it doesn’t sound like Gerrard plans on leaving Ibrox any time soon.
“We said the first one will be the hardest and we’re obviously millimetres away from achieving that,” he told RangersTV. “But, I don’t know, I got a feeling upstairs today that I want more.”
“I’m hungry for more and I hope my players share that. If we do, it’s exciting times to be a Rangers fan.”

Gerrard has since officially won his first title as a manager following Celtic’s slip-up at Tannadice on Sunday, but it doesn’t appear to be the end of his journey at Ibrox.
There are still two more trophies to compete for this season – the Europa League and the Scottish Cup – but it’s more league triumphs that the Gers boss appears to be making reference to.
That will be music to the ears of Bears and perhaps bad news for Liverpool fans after the Reds lost their sixth home Premier League match in a row on Sunday afternoon.
