Rangers are to miss out on Glen Kamara after TEAMtalk reported the Finnish midfielder is set to sign for Cardiff.
The former Arsenal youth will join the Welsh side on a pre-contract agreement. Whilst that means he wouldn’t join until June, Cardiff may yet make their move in January.
Rangers were linked to the midfielder as early as last week. The Ibrox side are light in midfield and the dynamic, athletic Kamara would provide real quality in the middle of the park.
Now it seems like they’ve lost their man and will need to move on.
Kamara joined Dundee in 2017 and has been a real bright light in a dark season for the Dens Park club. They currently sit bottom of the Scottish Premiership.
The defensive midfielder is still only 23 and the fact his contract is up in June obviously has clear appeal. He has made 17 appearances for Dundee this year and he also reportedly attracted interest from Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Finnish international Kamara has seven caps and one goal for his country. Whilst coming through the ranks at Arsenal he also went out on loan to Southend United and Colchester United.
Now it looks like he’ll be plying his trade in the Welsh capital from next year.
