Rangers have announced an ‘innovative’ partnership with London-based Fintech company Fortrade which will run until the end of the 2021/22 season [Rangers.co.uk].
Fortrade have become the club’s Official Online Trading Partner and their brand logo will appear on the advertising boards at Ibrox during the Old Firm on Saturday afternoon.
“We’re excited to welcome Fortrade as the newest member of the Rangers Commercial Partner family and are delighted to have them on board for the remainder of the 2020/21 season, as well as our historic 150th Anniversary season in 2021/22,” said Rangers Commercial and Marketing Director, James Bisgrove [Rangers.co.uk].
“Rangers’ support spans the entire globe which will provide worldwide exposure for Fortrade, who will benefit from a wide range of activations both at our iconic Ibrox Stadium and across the club’s enhanced digital platforms.
“Fortrade is on a clear pathway to becoming the world’s leading provider of online trading and Rangers look forward to supporting Fortrade in reaching this goal through our innovative new partnership.”

Fortrade CEO Chris Warburton also expressed his delight at the deal, stating that his company are ‘honoured’ to be partnering with such an ‘esteemed’ football club.
This is the latest in an increasingly long list of partnerships secured since Bisgrove’s appointment.
From a wide-ranging club alliance with US side Orange County SC to a deal with golf giant Titleist, a variety of moves have been made as the director searches for ways to generate additional revenue and to expand into new markets.
Recently, a broadcast deal with the Indian Super League has seen matches streamed live on the Rangers FC YouTube channel, while energy drink brand Eighty-One have introduced their products to the Rangers Store following the announcement of a two-year sponsorship deal in October.
While Bisgrove makes strides off the pitch, the players are looking to end the club’s major silverware drought and can stretch their lead at the top of the Premiership table with a win in Saturday’s Old Firm. Here’s our Predicted XI for the game.
