Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has said that whilst he’s enjoying his time in Glasgow, he doesn’t go out in the streets from the fear of being harassed by Celtic fans.
In an interview with Colombian news outlet Caracol Morelos opened up on a number of things. Amongst them Morelos talked about his future, his relationship with Steven Gerrard and life in Glasgow.
Whilst Morelos expressed his happiness to pose for photos with Rangers fans, the striker criticised Celtic fans for trying to get a rise out of him.

“I do not pay attention to them”
“Some people ask me for pictures and almost I can not walk quietly,” said Morelos. “The others make videos insulting me, waiting for me to react.
“They (Rangers fans) are very passionate. I end up taking the pictures for the love they have for me and because they deserve it.
“They (Celtic fans) grab one wanting to make videos and telling me bad things. I do not pay attention to them.
“I am aware that I am a public figure, so I have to handle that topic in the best way. But very little do I go out. I get a lot of bother in the street, so that’s why I don’t leave so much.”

Alfredo Morelos is the man of the moment in Scottish football. It’s no surprise he gets so much attention in the street from fans in Glasgow.
But he makes it clear here whilst he can handle the photographs, he doesn’t enjoy the abuse. It’s not the first time we’ve spoke about the 22 year old being harassed in Glasgow either.
Alfredo Morelos has been on red hot form for Rangers this season and
The Colombian forward has 27 goals this season, leading the Scottish Premiership’s scoring charts with 15.
