A report down south claims that the upcoming Premier League match between Liverpool and Arsenal has been rescheduled to allow more fans to watch the game in pubs.
According to the Mirror, Premier League bosses took the move amid new lockdown restrictions which would see pubs close before the match was concluded.

The game has been moved from 8:15pm to 8pm to ensure supporters – who’ve been locked out of grounds – can responsibly and safely watch their charges in action during the pandemic.
Contrast this move with reports in Scotland which suggest the upcoming Old Firm at Parkhead could be rescheduled to a new date entirely amid coronavirus fears.
Liverpool v Arsenal isn’t quite the grudge match Rangers v Celtic is but it is one of the division’s premier matches and likely to be very popular amongst fans.
Reports up north had suggested that Rangers’ clash with Old Firm foes Celtic could be rescheduled over fears of overstocked pubs, people meeting indoors to watch the game and fans gathering outside the stadium.
At present, restrictions in Scotland mean that people cannot visit each other’s households due to the continuing spread of Covid-19.

This has lead to fears of supporters gathering in each other’s homes to watch the game with pub numbers restricted and venues table service only.
As it stands, the match is scheduled to go ahead on Saturday the 17th of October at 12:30pm but the conversation around it is in stark contrast to that of big matches down south.
