Former Rangers star Josh Windass has moved to English Championship side Sheffield Wednesday after a deadline day loan deal was struck with current club Wigan.
The ex-Ibrox attacker was rumoured to be linked with a return to his old stomping ground this week but nothing materialised with Rangers moving for Ianis Haji in a similar position.
Now Windass will join Wednesday in the Championship with the Hillsborough club currently sitting in 11th place.

It’s a slight step up from turning out for Wigan with the former Premier League side currently toiling in 22nd place.
Rangers fans were certainly split on the notion of signing Windass again following the player’s departure from Ibrox this summer.
Windass left Rangers after complaining that Steven Gerrard had the audacity to accept a £2.5m bid [Open Goal] for his services.
The forward is an incredibly polarising figure at Ibrox but it’s hard to disagree that the signature of Ianis Hagi is a much more exciting prospect than the hot-and-cold forward.
Windass, now 26, played 73 times for Rangers, scoring 19 goals before eventually moving on last summer.
Since he has been at Wigan, Windass has played 59 times and found the net nine times for the DW Stadium club [Transfermarkt].
He has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of the season.
