Philippe Clement was delighted to welcome James Tavernier and Leon Balogun back to his Rangers side last night.
But he may have another couple of injury problems to worry about.
Both the Gers captain and his fellow defender were introduced to last night’s win over Aberdeen as late second half substitutes.
The skipper had missed four games and Balogun five as a defensive crisis mounted up, particularly in the centre.
Ridvan Yilmaz had to play on the opposite side to cover for Tavernier while Clinton Nsiala has been hailed for his early Gers appearances.
Further up the pitch, Oscar Cortes has been back in contention but Clement explained a “small problem” kept him out last night.
To add to the injury woes, centre half Robin Propper and forward Danilo both had to be withdrawn against Aberdeen.

Danilo and Propper Rangers injuries
Danilo is another who has had his share of injury issues and he was forced off at half-time at Ibrox.
While Propper was the one who was making way when Balogun came on after 76 minutes.
The manager insists’ Danilo’s problem was nothing to do with his previous injury but says it’s too soon to know how badly affected the pair will be.
He said: “I cannot say anything about that. I hear that people are worried about Dani, about his old injury. It’s nothing to do with that, not even around that, but we will see in the next couple of days.
“I cannot say anything about it. Maybe it’s something that’s not too bad, maybe it’s for a longer term. We will see in the next couple of days.”
Tavernier and Balogun boost
On having his experienced duo back, Clement said: “Yeah, it’s a crucial one and you saw also they came in with the right energy, the right focus.
“It’s crucial because we have so many games, we need a good rotation in the squad to have the ambition to win every time. And we were in our defensive line now really at the edge.”
