The Gers support are reeling after Rangers made history in a shock 1-0 defeat to Callum Davidson’s Championship side at Ibrox.
Not only was this the first time EVER that Rangers have lost a Scottish Cup tie to a lower league side at Ibrox but it’s also the first Scottish Cup defeat to a non-Premiership side since 1967.
The infamous 1-0 loss to Berwick Rangers still resonates to this day with legendary manager Scot Symon losing his job and several players being shipped out in the wake of the loss.
With Rangers’ domestic season effectively over and Celtic now matching towards a sixth treble in nine years, plenty of Rangers fans are calling for Clement’s head.

According to the Scottish Sun, Rangers will have to pay £1.2m if they want to sack manager Philippe Clement.
The report also states that stumping up the cash is one of ‘the main reasons’ why Rangers are hesitating over pulling the trigger on the ex-Club Brugge boss.
Remarkably, the report also claims that several members of the Rangers board wanted to sack Philippe Clement after the 2-1 Scottish Premiership defeat to St Mirren on Boxing Day.
Rangers’ away form has been drastic this season and contributed to an unacceptable capitulation in the title race, the club winning only four of their 12 away games this season.
Rangers find themselves 13 points off Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic, who also controversially defeated the Gers on penalties in the League Cup Final at Hampden.
The Europa League campaign has been a saving grace for Philippe Clement, who led Rangers to a top-eight finish and place in the competition’s Round of 16.
That’s despite Rangers playing four of the top seven teams in this season’s revamped League Phase.
Philippe Clement won’t quit as Rangers manager
Interim Rangers chairman John Gilligan admitted it could be ‘famous last words’ when he backed Philippe Clement in November.
Incoming Ibrox CEO Patrick Stewart also threw his weight behind the manager last month but admitted he could offer no ‘cast-iron guarantees’ if results did not improve.
A defiant Philippe Clement spoke after the shock Scottish Cup exit to Queen’s Park and told reporters that he will not walk away from the challenge at Ibrox.
The Rangers manager also claimed that he does not expect talks with the Ibrox hierarchy despite the club’s domestic season ending in a competitive sense before Valentine’s Day.
“I don’t expect this because you can put another manager in this game, coach this game during the game,” Clement told the press at full-time.
”Would it be different in that sense? So what was yesterday, then good and the progression was made and top eight in Europe and more consistency in the league and all these things, they don’t change in 90 minutes.
“If you do that and make decisions in that way, then you make only decisions out of emotions and not out of what’s been going on. So I don’t expect this now.
”No, totally not (when asked if he would resign from his role as manager).
“We know, again, we had these talks the last couple of months about building up something new.
“A few weeks ago or the last weeks, everybody says yes, everybody sees the evolution this club is making.
“So again, out of the emotion, taking decisions and turning everything around, I don’t think this is what this club needs.”
