Philippe Clement continues to come under scrutiny following Rangers’ poor start to the season.
Fed-up fans have made their feelings known on a number of occasions this term so far with boos ringing out after defeats to Aberdeen and Celtic, in particular.
Victory over Motherwell last weekend – where Clement’s side came from a goal behind to win 2-1 at Hampden and book their spot in the Premier Sports Cup Final – only papered over the cracks.
Tactical decisions and style of play from the Belgian have both been issues of contention for the fanbase with some believing there has been little proof of improvement this year.

But now the manager’s summer signings are also beginning to receive the ire of the support after some poor outings in recent weeks.
Jefte was criticised against Motherwell for his defending for Andy Halliday’s goal while others have also been criticised.
And pundit Michael Stewart believes another, defender Robin Propper, has not shown enough when it comes to establishing himself at the back for the Ibrox club.
Robin Propper sat on the bench as Neraysho Kasanwirjo replaced Leon Balogun at centre-back
The Dutchman joined the Light Blues back in August in a cut-price deal worth around just £1.5million for the experienced centre-half.
His arrival was hailed as a coup as he’d been the captain of FC Twente and was coming in to add a composure in the backline for Clement’s side.
Propper showed up to replace both Connor Goldson and Ben Davies who were allowed to leave the club but his appearances have left a lot to be desired where the fans are concerned.
The 31-year-old was left on the bench for Gers in their semi-final win and Stewart spotted – while working on punditry duties for Premier Sports – that the player seemed miffed to sit out.
He also did not come off the bench even after Leon Balogun picked up a knock with Neraysho Kasanwirjo playing centre-back.
Michael Stewart says Propper has not performed since he arrived from FC Twente in summer
And Stewart reckons that was a sign that even Clement has not been happy with his defender in recent weeks.
However the former Hibs and Hearts midfielder believes the boss is justified as Propper has just not cut it.
“The players that you’re bringing in, you’ve got to have them have a big impact,” Stewart said.
“Obviously the Dutchman, captain of Twente, he’s found himself under a lot of scrutiny. And he’s not coming on… That is a big, big statement there, in terms of Robin Propper. You can see, obviously, he’s not best pleased, sitting on the bench, understandably.
“But he hasn’t shown that leadership, he hasn’t shown that commanding role that you would be looking for from somebody that has good experience.”
Propper is not the only player to be questioned this week. Dujon Sterling has been accused of looking “disinterested”.
