Philippe Clement has faced a constant battle against injuries since arriving in Glasgow and taking over at Rangers.
The manager swore to improve the situation and, aside from the usual suspects, has seen a marked improvement in the availability of players within his squad.
Speaking ahead of Rangers trip to Dingwall to face Ross County, Clement has given more good news – is his luck finally turning?

Philippe Clement gives Rangers return update for injured duo
Tom Lawrence is back in light training and both Ridvan Yilmaz and Danilo aren’t far away from full fitness, however, it is the return to full training of Rabbi Matondo and Oscar Cortes that will please the Gers boss more:
“No problems after the last game, Rabbi [Matondo] and Oscar [Cortes] were today for the first time in full training so we need to see if that’s good enough to be in the selection day, they’ve been a long time out but it’s very positive news that they can do everything again, it was an intense training session today with the guys who didn’t play so that’s very positive news,” Clement said in his press conference.
Being able to rotate more players on the wing without seeing a decrease in quality or putting square pegs in round holes should help to improve consistency.
Who might miss out when Cortes and Matondo return to action?
Having two more wingers would mean that Nedim Bajrami wouldn’t have to play on the left anymore and free him up to play centrally in rotation with Ianis Hagi.
It also allows Mohamed Diomande to be available solely for the No.8 role that he performed so well next to Nicolas Raskin against Kilmarnock in one of his best performances of the season.
Getting them fit – especially Cortes – is a huge boost, but it is more important to keep them fit.
Cortes has barely kicked a ball for Rangers since signing in January and seeing him fulfill his potential could be a game changer for the forward line.
