My View: Philippe Clement should target Scottish Premiership title with Rangers
In my opinion, new Rangers manager Philippe Clement should target the Scottish Premiership title this season.
It is only October.
There is a lot of football to be played this season.
Rangers cannot think that they will not win the title this season.
Yes, there is a gap between Celtic and Rangers, but it is not massive.
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 22 points from eight games.
Rangers are second with 15 points from eight games.
Moreover, the Gers do have the players to mount a title challenge.
So, I believe that Rangers can still catch Celtic.
It is not going to be easy, but that is why Rangers have decided to bring in a proven winner in Clement to get the job done.
