Rangers have appointed Philippe Clement as their new manager, and he is over the moon to have been given the role at Ibrox.

New Rangers manager Philippe Clement sends message to fans
Clement is delighted to have been offered the Rangers job.
The former AS Monaco boss has taken to X to send a message to the Rangers fans.
Clement is a very successful manager.
The 49-year-old led Genk to the Belgian Pro League title in 2018-19 and then guided Club Brugge to championship success in 2020 and 2021.
Rangers Chairman, John Bennett, has said about Clement: “I would like to offer my warm congratulations to Philippe as he becomes our 19th manager.
“His appointment comes at the end of a carefully planned and comprehensive recruitment process.

“A team led by our CEO James Bisgrove, members of the board, and former Rangers player and manager Graeme Souness, has spent the last 10 days interviewing several high calibre candidates, with those individuals undergoing a rigorous interview and vetting process. We thank all candidates for their interest in the position.
“Philippe proved to be the outstanding candidate across all the key criteria, reinforced by his track record of winning titles and I wish him every success as he leads us forward.”
My View: Rangers manager Philippe Clement should aim for Scottish Premiership title
In my opinion, new Rangers manager Philippe Clement has to think about winning the Scottish Premiership title this season.
It is only the middle of October.
I believe that there is still time for Rangers to catch Celtic at the top of the league title.
Celtic have picked up 22 points from eight matches.
Rangers are second with 15 points from eight games.
So, there is no reason why Rangers should just give up on winning the title this season.
I believe that Rangers should just go for it.
