Outspoken pundit Michael Stewart is never normally one to side with Rangers but the BBC Sportscene panellist has indirectly done so amid the SPFL league proposal debate.
The SPFL are asking clubs to vote on a proposal which would see the four divisions finished on average points, crowning champions and relegating clubs.
The carrot of prize money is being dangled in front of cash-strapped clubs as Rangers level accusations of clubs being bullied into voting for the proposals.

Rangers have suggested an alternative Members Resolution which would see clubs divvied out prize money without calling the league campaign.
This was knocked-back by the SPFL with Rangers now set to submit another proposal based on their legal advice, criticising delays in the process.
Michael Stewart has been giving his two cents on the matter and indirectly agrees with Rangers that there should be no rush to hand out awards.
“For me right now,” said Stewart, “hand the money out and buy time on making a definitive decision on this season.”
Rangers have reiterated in their latest statement that their Members Resolution has been designed “to urgently address the financial hardship faced by clubs whilst allowing more time to discuss and evaluate all options for completing this season, in line with UEFA advice” [Rangers].
Clubs are expected to vote on the SPFL proposals throughout the day with Rangers hoping there will be “no impediments” on member clubs also voting on their Members Resolution.
