Injury fears are mounting behind Rangers full-back Borna Barisic after he was once again excluded from the Croatia squad for their match with Sweden.
The marauding left-back is a major part of how Rangers play but was forced off with an injury in the 2-0 win over Ross County last weekend.

Despite this Barisic was still called up for the Croatia international squad but so far has sat out both matches against Switzerland now the Swedes.
Rangers assistant manager Gary McAllister played down the injury in the aftermath of the Ross County match.
“It’s just a blow, it was just below his shinpad. It’s nothing serious. It’s some studs mark below his shin pads,” said McAllister [Daily Record].
“Connor was feeling a wee bit of cramp, we don’t think that’s a problem either.
“Everyone has come through okay and now we’re hoping everyone goes away on international duty and comes back healthy.”
Attention will now turn to Croatia’s final UEFA Nations League match of the international break on Wednesday night against France.
One positive Rangers fans can take from this is that despite not being passed fit to play so far for Croatia, he has not been sent home from their training camp.

This would insinuate he has a chance of playing against the World Champions, but Rangers fans will be hoping that he returns to Glasgow unscathed ahead of the match with Celtic.
There was no risk taken with Swedish international and Rangers teammate Filip Helander, who was sent home from the Sweden training camp due to carrying a “light injury”.
