There are just a few weeks left of 2024 with what has been a year to forget for Rangers.

Things started so promisingly under Philippe Clement too, just a few months into his tenure as manager he rallied a squad that looked dead and buried.

Unfortunately, they ran out of steam and ran out of legs with the Scottish Premiership trophy not coming back to Ibrox and Rangers ending the season with just the league cup to their name.

Rangers players reveal Spotify most played lists

The end of every year comes with reflection, for some, there is also the Spotify end of year wrap.

For those that don’t subscribe to the music streaming application, for every user they provide a run down of songs that individuals played most throughout the year and what artists they listened to the most.

For those of a certain age, it’s a great chance to be reminded of how old you are when you see who the Rangers squad have been listening to.

And John Souttar, when asked for his most listening to, replied:

“Nothing to do with you.”

Before confirming that the reforming Oasis, were top of his pops.

Rangers fans most played of recent seasons

This season, despite the form on the pitch, there has been undoubted success off it with the Union Bears version of Caledonia.

It’s not the only song in recent years to be a smash hit.

The soundtrack of the changing room on Rangers run to the Scottish Premiership title in 2020/21 quickly became known to the fans.

Whenever Rangers supporters hear “I’m Feeling It” the overriding memory must be the Europa League run of 2022.

As for “Sweet Caroline”, it’s impossible not to think about Alfredo Morelos dancing in the changing rooms at the Toni Macaroni Arena waving his shirt around his head.
