A pair of overseas DJs have admitted they were blown away by the Rangers fans’ rendition of ‘I’m Feeling It’ at Ibrox on Sunday.

The adopted anthem was played over the tannoy and belted out by 50,000 Bears following the 1-0 win over Celtic.

The Gers dominated the Old Firms last season, winning four and drawing one, but all five matches took place behind closed doors.

Sunday’s game was the first derby since the return of fans and the stadium was rocking, particularly after Filip Helander’s winner and the final whistle.

One half of Sunset Bros, DJ Adriano Mercurio, was blown away by the Rangers fans, and has vowed to perform the track live at Ibrox one day.

“We don’t think there is a perfect way to describe it but with everything going on in the world, it was heart-warming to see so many people side by side screaming it at the top of their lungs,” he said [Scottish Sun]. “It’s what football fans deserve. We will never forget it.”

“We’ve been lucky enough to see a few live matches around the world but after witnessing the atmosphere at Rangers vs Celtic we 100 per cent want to go the minute we are out of lockdown and can travel.

“Let Stevie G and the lads know that we are coming to perform it live. Rangers are one of the biggest clubs in the world.”

Since Sunday’s win, plenty of supporters have spoken on social media about how special the ‘I’m Feeling It’ rendition was.

The anthem is popular across the fanbase, so there’s no doubt that if Sunset Bros were to get the opportunity to perform at Ibrox in the future, it’s something supporters would love.

However, even if they are there performing live, it will be hard to top the atmosphere created on Sunday, when a stadium packed full of Bears celebrated a first win in front of their fiercest rivals since an unprecedented fan lockout came to an end.

In other news, it has been claimed that there could soon be a development on a Rangers players’ future despite the transfer window closing on Tuesday.
