Norwich have bid accepted for Rangers target Aidan Fitzpatrick – report

Norwich City have had a bid “too-good to turn down” accepted for Partick Thistle winger Aidan Fitzpatrick, who was said to be interesting Rangers.
The tricky 18-year-old winger has been catching the eye of plenty of clubs, with both sides of the Old Firm said to be interested in the player. Rangers were said to be rivalling Norwich.
But after an initial bid was reportedly turned down by Norwich last month, Partick’s hand has been forced this time around.

In a statement on Partick Thistle’s website, Jags’ CEO Gerry Britton also revealed that Norwich was the only club to approach Partick about Fitzpatrick.
Whilst personal terms are still be agreed, the deal is still a small way from being concluded.
But it now means that Rangers are likely to miss out on the highly-rated Scottish talent.
Despite that, Rangers can take a little comfort in the fact Fitzpatrick also looks unlikely to move to Celtic Park.
Teenager Fitzpatrick broke in the Partick Thistle side last season, making 32 appearances in total and scoring an impressive eight goals.
Jags manager Gary Caldwell had previously said “it would take an extraordinary bid” for the club to consider selling Fitzpatrick.
