According to The Daily Express via the Scottish Sun, both Rangers and Norwich City are in the hunt for Aidan Fitzpatrick’s services.
The 17-year-old midfielder broke into Partick Thistle’s first team this season.
Recently, Kris Doolan, described him as the most exiting prospect to come out of the Jags’ youth system.
However, today, Thistle manager, Gary Caldwell, provided an update on the player’s transfer status.
After confirming that they had rejected two bids from an unnamed club, the ex-Celtic and Hibs man attempted to reassure the club’s supporters.
“I want to keep Aidan at the club and Aidan wants to be here. I recommended that the board reject the recent offer and they agreed.”
“There is little doubt in my mind that Aidan will, at some point in his career, move on and potentially play at the very highest level”, he continued.

“However, I would like to make it clear that it would take an extraordinary bid for the club to even contemplate it.”
Whether it was Norwich, Rangers, or in fact, any other club who made the original bid, is unclear.
Yet, it’s apparent that the youngster won’t be going anywhere cheaply.
After a Scottish Cup goal at the weekend, his stock continues to rise.
Under contract until 2021, though, it appears that for the next while at least, he’ll be turning out at Firhill.
