There was no sign of Rangers first-teamer Glen Kamara in the club’s latest official snaps of their summer training camp in Germany as exit links continue to mount.

The Ibrox side have been keeping fans abreast of developments in pre-season as an intensive training camp kicks off and Michael Beale’s charges are put through their paces.

But in the latest round of photos from Germany there is no sign of Glen Kamara amid high-profile reporting that the Finnish international midfielder will leave Rangers this summer.

The midfielder also isn’t anywhere to be seen in the official RangersTV video of the club’s Germany training camp with speculation continuing to mount regarding Glen Kamara’s future at the club.

Those pointing to the fact that Glen Kamara was involved in the recent round of international fixtures with Finland will also note the presence of John Souttar, Ryan Jack (both Scotland), Borna Barisic (Croatia) and Ianis Hagi (Romania) in Germany.

Glen Kamara absent from Rangers’ Germany training camp

Glen Kamara’s visible absence from the Rangers training camp in Germany could be attributed to a number of factors, including injury and personal problems, but it comes at an interesting juncture.

Not only has reporting suggested that Glen Kamara will be the highest profile sale from Rangers this summer, with the Ibrox side valuing the player at £5m, but there has also been talk of a bid in the last week.

Reports have suggested that Turkish Super Lig outfit Besiktas have submitted a somewhat cheeky loan offer for the 27-year-old midfielder.

There have also been suggestions that Rangers may have to reduce their asking price for the player, with Bestikas willing to pay €2.5m (£2m) to sign Glen Kamara permanently [Fanatik].

Rangers fans noticing the absence of Glen Kamara may also note that several players who’ve been linked with the exit door are currently being put through their paces in Germany.

Jon McLaughlin, Scott Wright, Antonio Colak and Ianis Hagi have all been seen on the continent as links continue to persist around their Rangers futures.

However, alongside Glen Kamara, the absence of Championship-linked Rangers defender Ben Davies in the club’s coverage of the Germany training club is also visible.
