Earlier this week, Steven Gerrard admitted Ligue 1 side, Nice, were preparing a bid for Alfredo Morelos.
The 22-year-old has scored 20 goals for Rangers in all competitions this season, and is naturally attracting serious attention from elsewhere.

He arrived at Ibrox at the beginning of last season, costing around £1 million from HJK Helsinki.
Despite Nice’s initial offer reported to being around £8 million, Steven Gerrard labelled it as a ‘disrespectful’ amount.
It shows how dramatically the Colombian’s stock has risen recently.
The situation developed further, when, on Thursday, Mario Balotelli’s move to Marseille was finalised.
He joins Les Olympiens on a free transfer, after three years and 33 league goals for Nice.

Will Nice now redouble their efforts for Morelos?
It has been suggested by Italian transfer website, Calcio Mercata, that a second approach is in the offing.
Steven Gerrard’s response to the reported initial enquiries was emphatic.
Yet, it makes sense for them to push the boat out now.

Their whole season may depend on bringing in a replacement striker.
The question is, will they offer enough to test Rangers’ resolve?
After Gerrard repeatedly claiming Morelos is going nowhere, it’s surely unlikely.
