Rangers have made a decision regarding Frank Lampard, and I completely agree with the Ibrox officials.
The Daily Record journalist Andy Newport is reporting on X this evening that Rangers have decided against appointing former Chelsea and Everton boss Frank Lampard as their new manager.
Newport has claimed that Rangers will hold “final stage interviews” with the managerial candidates next week.
Rangers sacked Michael Beale as their manager last week and are on the hunt for a replacement.
Rangers make decision regarding Frank Lampard
One manager who will not be in charge of the Gers anytime soon is Frank Lampard.
The reporter has claimed that the former England international midfielder is out of the running.
This comes after multiple reports claimed that Rangers had held talks with the 45-year-old former Derby County boss.
Journalist Simon Phillips reported on Twitter this week that Lampard was in talks with Rangers.

Phillips claimed that Lampard had spoken with Rangers three times already, the latest talks having been held last week.
TEAMtalk also reported that the Gers and Lampard are in talks.
My View: Rangers absolutely right about Frank Lampard
In my opinion, Rangers have made the right decision in not hiring Frank Lampard as their next manager.
I think that Lampard is a good manager.
But, in my view, he is not ready yet to take charge of Rangers.
Lampard is simply not the right fit for Rangers at this moment in time.
The Englishman got sacked at Everton and failed to do much of note in his stint as the Chelsea caretaker-manager.
Rangers need a manager who is doing well at the moment or has been successful in their recent roles.
