You know Celtic boss Neil Lennon is feeling the heat when he’s scrambling about looking to put digs in on Rangers.
In his latest soundbites, the Celtic boss aims one at the Rangers’ statement over the Jon Flanagan Scott Brown incident. In smarmy comments, he claims Rangers are good at making statements, whilst claiming Celtic are “above all that”.
The comments came amidst a bit of a ramble as he tries to convince the Celtic fan base that he’s the man for the job. And on their showings since he took over, let’s hope he their board think so.

“Look, they are good at making statements,” said Lennon, as quoted by the Scottish Sun “We are above all that.
“The only thing I want to say is it’s a straight red card. We should feel aggrieved Jon Flanagan didn’t get a red. That’s all I want to say on it.”
His comments on the guard of honour before the Old Firm were classless and completely justified Rangers’ decision.

And Lennon’s latest comments come in the wake of Sunday’s demoralising Old Firm humbling at Ibrox. Rangers were better in every department and our friends in the Eastend are beginning to feel a little bit of heat underneath them.
Next season is massive for everyone, and Celtic fans are raising doubts over Lennon. He clearly wants the job, but these little soundbites about Rangers just look desperate.
