Motherwell legend Stephen Craigan is expected to move to Rangers following a departure this week at Ibrox.
Rangers are on a high after beating Hearts 4-2 in the Scottish Premiership, but have to deal with a major exit behind the scenes.
The owners, Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers Enterprises, would want to ensure that everything is working smoothly, as they would not want to dampen a potential title-winning season.

Stephen Craigan expected to replace Liam Ross who has left for Southampton
News emerged on Monday, 16 February, that Liam Ross has parted ways with the Ibrox outfit.
He will be joining Southampton to work with their academy setup, joining Nick Davies’ group talent development team.
Ross will work as an individual coach analyst at clubs owned by Sport Republic, including Southampton, Goztepe, Valenciennes and Mali Coura.
He served as the Head Coach for the Gers’ Under-19s, and that role is expected to be taken over by Craigan, according to RFC Youths.
The reliable source on all things related to the Rangers academy took to X to claim that the Northern Irishman, who played nearly 400 games for the Fir Park outfit, will take over the reins until the end of the season.

Craigan has proven himself for years in Scottish football, being a legend at one of the SPFL’s historic sides.
He would instantly command the respect of the Gers youngsters who would want to impress him en route to making it to the first team.
The 49-year-old has previous experience in coaching the academy players, as he achieved success with the Motherwell Under-20s.
Under his guidance, the youth team won the Scottish Youth Cup in 2016, and his three-year spell in the role earned him widespread credit for recruiting some of the club’s most talented young players into the first-team setup.
He is known for his technical and tactical depth, and Rangers would certainly benefit from his arrival.
