Mohamed Diomande has been given the outcome of an appeal against the red card handed to the Rangers midfielder in the 3-1 win over Dundee United.
Referee Nick Walsh sent Mohamed Diomande off for a clash with Dundee United defender Kevin Holt, who instigated a scuffle with the Ivorian.
The whistler would then stick to his guns when referred to the VAR screen despite replays showing the Rangers star to be the victim rather than the perpetrator of any offence.
The SPFL appeals panel have now rescinded the red card shown to Mohamed Diomande, with the midfielder avoiding a two match ban as a result.

Mohamed Diomande banned for two matches
As a result of the appeal, Mohamed Diomande will now be free for selection for the club’s next two upcoming Scottish Premiership matches.
Rangers are set to host Ross County in the Scottish Premiership this Sunday before visiting Hearts at Tynecastle a fortnight later.
Rangers will now have Mohamed Diomande available for both matches with the decision-making of referee Nick Walsh coming in for scrutiny across Scotland.
‘Mystifying’ Rangers red card branded ‘embarrassing’
Rangers boss Philippe Clement claimed that Mohamed Diomande was ‘attacked’ by Dundee United star Kevin Holt in the win at Tannadice.
The Rangers manager had intimated the Gers’ intention to appeal in the immediate aftermath of the 3-1 Scottish Premiership victory.
Former Rangers striker Billy Dodds also claimed he was ‘mystified’ at the decision with the ex-Inverness boss taking aim at the use of VAR in the process.
Kris Boyd also branded the red card ‘embarrassing’ after Diomande spent the game being kicked up and down the park at Tannadice.
The Sky Sports Ref Watch panel, which appears to be reviewing decisions involving Rangers on a weekly basis, also unanimously disagreed with the decision.
