Rangers boss Michael Beale claims that Ibrox fans could see Tom Lawrence and Kemar Roofe returning from injury against HSV – whilst Cyriel Dessers is in line for a debut.
The Ibrox manager was speaking after the 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United in Allan McGregor’s testimonial clash in comments which will have the Ibrox support buzzing.

Whilst the Rangers boss isn’t in a rush to jinx things, all the sounds suggest the club is moving on from the devastating injury issues which plagued the last campaign.
“You’ll see Cyriel (Dessers) at the weekend,” explained Michael Beale.
“With Kemar Roofe and maybe Tom Lawrence; maybe I’ll have to hold him back but he’s chomping at the bit to be involved at the weekend as well.
“Kemar trained from the mid-part of Germany and he looks in good shape. Cyriel was late arriving so is a bit behind everyone else, hence not involved tonight.
“We’ve had a really positive summer, we’ve managed everybody really well. I don’t want to say that we’ve got a clean bill of health, because you know what happens in football, but we’re moving in a good direction.”
Tom Lawrence, Kemar Roofe and Cyriel Dessers to boost Rangers options
Rangers’ season was badly disrupted by major injuries and setbacks to both Tom Lawrence and Kemar Roofe, who are high-earning senior players and amongst the talented in Scotland.
The news would suggest both are ahead of schedule in their injury returns with Tom Lawrence only just returning to first team Rangers training at the start of the week.
The Gers splashed out a substantial £4.5m+ on Cyriel Dessers, who has come in to be the club’s number one striker, and fans are excited to see what the Cremonese forward can offer.

Should all three players return to the playing squad for Rangers’ upcoming friendly with HSV it will be a major boost to the club’s chances this season and will add to the excitement gathering behind the new campaign.
Rangers have a number of attacking options already in the team, with Tom Lawrence, Kemar Roofe and Cyriel Dessers boosting them further as the new season starts to get underway.
