Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has described long-term Rangers target Ryan Kent as a “wonderful player” as he continues to impress in pre-season.
The tricky winger is with Liverpool in the United States and has featured heavily in their pre-season programme.
Things remain very much up in the air with regards Kent’s immediate future but the fact Klopp clearly rates Kent could be a hit to the Gers’ transfer hopes.

“Ryan had sensational moments in the Sevilla game – one-on-one situations are his big strength,” Klopp told LiverpoolTV.
“He is a wonderful kid, a wonderful player.
“Very good moments in pre-season, but it is for all the boys always a big challenge as well to show up.
“They probably feel under pressure, which they shouldn’t but it is natural that it happens. I am happy about that, absolutely.”
