Leeds United not considering former Rangers manager Steven Gerrard
The report published today has claimed that Leeds have no plans to hire former Rangers and Aston Villa manager Gerrard.
The Premier League club are on the hunt for a new manager following the dismissal of Jesse Marsch yesterday.
Leeds made their decision after a 1-0 defeat to fellow relegation candidates Nottingham Forest away from home at the City Ground in the Premier League at the weekend.
The Whites are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from 20 matches, level on points with third-from-bottom Everton, who have played 21 games.
On Monday, Italian news outlet TMW reported that Gerrard is being considered by Leeds.

The report added that the West Yorkshire club are looking at Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou as well.
The Daily Star are reporting today that while Postecoglou is on the shortlist, Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani has ruled out hiring Liverpool legend Gerrard.
Gerrard, who guided Rangers to the Scottish Premiership title in 2020-21, was sacked by Premier League club Aston Villa in October 2022.
