Marcelo Bielsa is “dead set” on signing Liverpool winger and one-time Rangers target Ryan Kent, according to Athletic journalist Phil Hay.
The Leeds United boss has been routinely linked to Kent alongside the Glasgow club throughout the transfer window.
And now Hay appears to confirm the interest on Twitter whilst suggesting he could be a replacement for the reportedly outgoing Kemar Roofe.

Roofe, who was also linked with a move to Rangers should Alfredo Morelos have moved on [Scottish Sun], is reportedly in discussions over a £7m move to Anderlecht [Daily Mail].
That would free up the bulk of the £7-10m Liverpool reportedly want for the forward.
Sky Sports claim that Liverpool want £7m, whilst Athletic journalist James Pearce claims Liverpool want close to £10m for the player.
Interestingly, Phil Hay’s tweet suggests that Argentine manager Marcelo Bielsa sees Kent as a more central player and not a winger.
Should Roofe make that move to Vincent Kompant’s Anderlecht side, then going by these reports Leeds look prepared to pounce for the player.
That will ultimately put to bed talk of Kent joining Rangers as if Steven Gerrard’s comments last week didn’t already [Rangers].

At between £7m-10m, the Ibrox club has been priced out of a permanent move for the player.
