Rangers have officially launched the club’s Castore third kit online as the “striking” black and orange design is made available to supporters across the globe.
The first run of the kit was made available in the newly renovated Rangers Store but now fans can get their hands on a kit by ordering online.
The digital launch of the club’s changed kit comes after over 100k kits were sold between the home and away jerseys following the launch of the new Castore retail deal.
“With a Jet Black base and bold Orange trims, the 2020/20201 Rangers 3rd jersey has been designed for truest fans of The Glasgow Rangers Football Club,” reads the product description [Rangers].
“Featuring a retro parallel lining trim design on the front and a further orange lining on the outer back neck, the 3rd jersey is simultaneously understated and striking.
“Made from an ultra-high-performance Castore Rapide fabric and featuring mesh panelling for additional breathability. Make a real statement at Ibrox this season.”
It’s the latest move from Castore as the £25m Rangers kit deal continues to develop amid trying circumstances for the retailer.
Castore sent an email to supporters last week explaining that the turnaround on the marketing and design was in such a short window.
They also made a commitment to improving delivery channels and customer service as they offered refunds and £25 vouchers to anyone affected by delays.
“To date, over 100,000 packages have been successfully delivered to Rangers fans in over 35 countries across the globe since the partnership launched,” said Castore.
“Castore were able to achieve this within a three-month window for design, manufacture and production, during a global pandemic, with industry-standard expected at a minimum 18 months.

”It is regrettable that not every supporter has received their package on time. Together, we have worked tirelessly to rectify any issues, with less than 3% of all orders being impacted.
“We recognise that this is still too high and acknowledge the disappointment and frustration.
“98% of products now been delivered to supporters as of today.
“Those whose original orders cannot be accommodated this week, will receive full refunds together with a £25 voucher, in order they can buy products directly from The Rangers Store or order online.”

Castore also claimed “a third-party courier” encountered problems beyond their control during the delivery of pre-orders and claimed they have “appointed a new supplier”.
Delivery service Hermes refuted claims from leading Rangers fan media that they had been “sacked” by the kit manufacturer [Rangers News].
