Kilmarnock goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann has sensationally claimed that Rangers have contacted him with a view to a move.
The big Killie stopper is currently on-loan from Watford. He was speaking to local press outlet LAOLA 1 in his native Austria about the interest.
Bachmann claims Rangers are looking to snap him up come the summer, but in the meantime, he’s focused on Kilmarnock.

“There are contacts with my English agent, but now I am concentrating exclusively on Kilmarnock,” said Bachmann about Rangers.
“From June I am again a player of Watford and I want to prevail in the Premier League. It’s good that my achievements are acknowledged, but at the moment I am only concerned with achieving our goals with Kilmarnock,”
Daniel Bachmann, 24, has been in superb form for Kilmarnock this season and looks to be a solid option in goal.

Whilst he’s set to return to Watford, it remains to be seen if he can force his way into the Premier League outfit’s squad. Rangers may well be looking to pounce on a player who saw red against Rangers in the year.
Any move for Bachmann would surely see backup goalkeeper Wes Foderingham moved on. Allan McGregor remains the club’s first choice stopper whilst Andy Firth is the club’s third choice keeper.
