Former Rangers star Kevin Thomson is currently enjoying a fruitful spell in charge of League Two side Kelty Hearts.
Thomson, who has only overseen the Fife side since the summer, has taken to management extremely well.

Kelty currently sits top of League Two on 36 points, a massive ten points clear of their nearest rivals Forfar and promotion looks increasingly likely.
His side won 2-0 against Stenhousemuir at the weekend to continue their impressive form.
Thomson, who previously oversaw the Rangers under 18 squad and runs his own football academy, is proving that he was the correct choice to take over from his former teammate Barry Ferguson, who moved to Alloa.
Rangers signed Thomson from Hibs in January 2007 and he went on to become a key member of the side that reached the UEFA Cup final in 2008. Unfortunately, Injuries hampered what could have been an excellent career at Rangers.
A serious knee injury suffered against Kilmarnock in November 2008 ruled him out for the rest of the season and he wasn’t quite the same player after.
He is more than making up for this in a coaching capacity however, progressing fast and landing his first senior managerial role with Kelty Hearts following a spell with the Rangers B team.

Could there be a future for Thomson at Ibrox in some capacity further down the line? Time will tell.
But Ibrox or otherwise, if Thomson keeps up this fantastic start, Kelty might struggle to keep hold of the former Rangers midfielder for much longer regardless.
Meanwhile, Scott Arfield is doing all he can to warrant a contract extension.
