Former Rangers striker Kenny Miller has praised his old club’s transfer business in this window.
The Dundee striker believes that both Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis will be hugely influential for Rangers.
Despite being in their mid 30s, Miller thinks the duo will be huge for Rangers in the months to come. And he should know.

Miller, 39, is still plying his trade up at Dens Park. Speaking to the BBC, he had his say on Rangers two big signings this window.
“Both of those players have not had a lot of game time and, when you get to the latter stage of your career, playing regularly is even more important,” said Kenny Miller.

“But, if you look at the two of them, they are in great nick and they will only get better as the weeks pass.”

Davis and Defoe will “get better”

The duo turned out for the first time since they signed with the club in Wednesday night’s disappointment at Rugby Park.
Whilst Rangers lost the game, Miller believes the two players will bring great experience to Ibrox.
“When Steve has been asked to play for Southampton, he was outstanding,” said Miller. “Jermain, you can see has a real enthusiasm for the game.
“When you get older, you might lose that wee half-yard, but you make up for that up top and he’s always sharp, he’s alive around the box.”

Rangers signed the loan duo at the beginning of the transfer window. On paper at least, they are a massive improvement on loan duo Ovie Ejaria and Umar Sadiq.
Southampton midfielder Steven Davis joined Rangers on an initial six months loan deal.
Jermain Defoe signed an 18 month loan deal with an option for his parent club Bournemouth to recall the striker at the end of the season.
