Kenny Miller has always been a polarising figure at Ibrox. Namely because once he turned out at Parkhead.

And couldn’t hold his excitement when he scored against us in an Old Firm.

To some he redeemed himself with some huge performances and Old Firm goals in a blue shirt later down the line.

But after a fall-out following a Scottish Cup Semi Final mauling by Celtic, Kenny Miller never saw a royal blue shirt again.

Could he yet come back to haunt us in a dark blue one?

Kenny Miller coming into this on form

In normal circumstances, a trip to Dens Park should be routine. But as is the norm at Ibrox, things rarely are.

Rangers go into this one on the back of an abject, 1-0 defeat to Aberdeen. There’s a slight pressure burning and we need a reaction.

Dundee are quite the opposite. Rooked to the bottom of the table for most of the season, there are now signs of life over the Tay.

They thumped Hamilton 4-0 for their first win since September, Kenny Miller got a hattrick. They’re also unbeaten in three matches.

Nonetheless, this is a match Rangers should be winning. If we’re to maintain a title challenge, it’s one we must win too.

But is it in the script that Kenny Miller will come back to haunt his old side?
