Rangers boss Michael Beale has provided an injury update regarding returning striker Kemar Roofe, who was subbed off with a shoulder knock in the Viaplay Cup semi final win over Aberdeen.
The Jamaican international striker, 30, has seen his season besieged by injury but showed his expert finishing class by netting the winner in a 2-1 victory over the Dons AET.
But that goal was dampened by a late injury for the striker who landed awkwardly on his shoulder and went off the park clutching it before the final whistle.

Kemar Roofe just can’t catch a break when it comes to injury and Rangers manager Michael Beale wasn’t exactly convincing as the Ibrox boss spoke ahead of the clash with Kilmarnock.
The ex-Leeds striker will visit a specialist about the problem and even though he will miss the clashes with Kilmarnock and St Johnstone, at least it isn’t a break.
“Kemar Roofe won’t be available for this weekend, he will get a scan and a second opinion,” said Michael Beale [Rangers].
“It’s not a break, but we need to wait and see the extent of the injury. It’s a huge disappointment for Kemar and the fans. He is a huge character at this club and I feel for him.”
Kemar Roofe also took to social media again after the injury problem and the striker insists that he’ll be working hard to contribute to Rangers this season.
It’s yet another bitterly disappointing blow for the striker who has been a monumental miss at times this season, with Rangers fans eager to see Kemar get a run of fitness at the club.
”Out of sight out of mind but I’ll always be working to improve so I can be ready to help the team when possible,” posted Kemar Roofe.
Meanwhile, Rangers have been linked with a move which could finally replace a £16m star at Ibrox.
