Daily Record journalist Keith Jackson has claimed that West Ham and Crystal Palace are believed to be showing “tentative interest” in Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
Sportswriter Jackson made the claims whilst discussing comments Andy Gray was making about the striker.
In a pretty snarly piece about Morelos’ being a problem in Gerrard’s dressing room, Jackson, through Gray, appears to will the striker out of Ibrox.

“He [Gray] probably didn’t need to be at Ibrox in person on Sunday to identify the biggest single problem lurking inside the Scouser’s dressing room,” writes Jackson.
“But what Gray saw during a surprisingly one-sided romp over Marseille merely convinced him of what he has suspected all of this time.
“That the conundrum that is Alfredo Morelos may well be more bother than he’s worth.
“With Crystal Palace and West Ham believed to be showing tentative interest in the prolific South American, pretty soon Gerrard may have a multi-million pound decision on his hands.
“Or at least Gray certainly appears to hope so.”
It’s not the first time Jackson has written inherently negative pieces surrounding the Colombian, with the journalist appearing to have a real problem with the striker.
Whatever the reasons, Morelos’ future continues to be the subject of much debates.
Crystal Palace have previously been credited with an interest, whilst this is the first time West Ham have been officially linked to the player.

But should Morelos move on, Steven Gerrard and Rangers are exactly right to be holding out for megabucks for the player.
Especially when English Championship players are in the middle of £15m transfer tussles.
