Rangers midfielder John Lundstram looks set to remain at Ibrox until the end of the season at least, that’s according to journalist Jordan Campbell of the Athletic.
Lundstram has polarised fans so far this campaign, arriving at the club with high hopes having starred in the Premier League with Sheffield Utd, before signing a pre-contract agreement at Rangers during the summer.

“Further to the interest in Aaron Ramsey on a loan deal, understand that John Lundstram won’t be leaving Rangers this window.” Claims Campbell [TheAthletic].
John Lundstram to stay at Rangers and fight for his place despite some recent interest
There has been some interest in the Englishman recently, with Middlesbrough looking to make a swoop and reunite him with former manager Chris Wilder [DailyRecord].
Nothing materialised from the move, and it appears he will continue to be on the wage bill without ever threatening the starting XI.
Under van Bronckhorst, Lundstram has only started three matches, a dead rubber in Europe, a Scottish Cup fourth-round tie against Stirling Albion, and a league match against Dundee Utd, in which he was substituted at halftime.
The signs aren’t looking good for a long-term future under the Dutchman and January represented a great opportunity for a deal to be reached that would please both Rangers and the player.
With the club looking at doing last-minute business, with a move for Aaron Ramsey in the works [DailyRecord], it could be a tough second half of the season for the midfielder.

Hopefully, if Lundstram does get regular game time at Rangers, then his performances will be much improved from what the Ibrox faithful have seen so far.
