Italian giants AC Milan were on an Alfredo Morelos scouting mission at Ibrox last night, according to club insider Four Lads Had a Dream.

The reliable blogger made the claim as Rangers defeated familiar foes Progres Niederkorn 2-0 thanks to goals from Joe Aribo and Sheyi Ojo.
Thankfully, Alfredo had a relatively quiet game. But when a club like AC Milan comes calling it could spell major issues for Rangers.

The Italian heavyweights finished fifth in Serie A last season and would offer Alfredo the promise of Europa League football and potentially Champions League football from next year.

The seven-time European Cup/Champions League winners have amongst the richest histories in football and pose an interesting option for the Colombian forward.
But should the striker have caught their eye during last night’s trip to Ibrox, then they’ll need to cough up for his services.

Steven Gerrard has repeatedly said that any offer for Alfredo will need to be considerable in order to tempt Rangers into selling.

Club managing director Stewart Robertson pinned a Dembele-like price tag on the striker last season, with Celtic’s former France U21 forward moving to Lyon for close to £20m.
