Is "class act" Glen Kamara now first choice at Rangers?

Steven Gerrard didn’t mince his words about “class act” Glen Kamara during the week. It shows just how highly the Rangers Manager thinks of the Finnish international.
The fact Rangers spent some money on taking him to the club this month perhaps shows that more.
Kamara has started the last two matches and has had fans very excited about the kind of player Rangers have signed. He looks classy, composed, and looking at Gerrard’s comments, a current first teamer.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Gerrard said:
“He gave you all an indication of what he can do on Wednesday.

“He was a class act the other night, I thought he was superb from start to finish. Without Alfredo’s goals he would certainly have been man of the match.
“Glen connected the game really well.

“He was also very aggressive out of possession and that’s where I believe he can keep improving and moving forward and become an even better player than he is now.”

Gerrard wants Kamara to be a midfield “monster”

Going by these comments, we’ll be seeing plenty more of the player. All the sounds suggest he’s made that defensive midfield berth his own. Which, when you think about how static our midfield has been, is a very good thing.
Gerrard spoke to the Daily Record about wanting Kamara to be a “monster” in the middle of the park for Rangers. To hunt the ball down and then to use it effectively.
He also looks a tidy option who isn’t scared of possession and is calm in it. I think we’re right to be excited about him. Neil McCann compared him to Arsenal’s Paddy Viera, suggesting he’d make us millions.
Glen Kamara joined the club on deadline day in January after protracted transfer talks. The midfielder had originally signed a pre-contract on the same day as Jordan Jones.
