The debate rages on about who is the better footballer between Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos and Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard, but according to Ian Crocker there’s only one answer.
The legendary commentator has saw some of the finest talent to ever play for the Old Firm in his iconic role behind the mic for the world’s fiercest derby.
But when it comes to who tops the current crop, Crocker thinks there’s no-one better in Scotland than Rangers’ resident Colombian in a list of his top 10 Scottish based players.

“I’m going to go for Alfredo Morelos as my No.1 – just edging Odsonne Edouard. It’s the fact he plays with such an edge which I’ve always quite liked,” said Crocker [Daily Record].
“I know it’s a thin line but that’s part of his make-up and Steven Gerrard has obviously worked on it.
“There might be the occasional flashpoint but even when he was getting ridiculed for his red cards I thought he was a serious talent.
“I’m told his agent was touting him around here, there and everywhere when he was playing in Finland for quite some time before anyone bid which is quite surprising.”
Morelos’ form this season has seen him net 23 goals already, with 22 coming for Rangers and one in the yellow of Colombia.
There’s been a genuine step up in terms of the 23-year-old’s form this year and he has emerged as Rangers main man and arguably the top talent in the country.

Morelos wasn’t the only Rangers man included in Crocker’s top 10 either.
Rangers winger Ryan Kent placed 7th whilst iconic club midfielder Steven Davis placed 5th.
